WHITTINGTON MARINE KILLEDInformation has been received by Mr and Mrs James Madin, 23 Nelson Street, Whittington Moor, that their son, Private Arthur Madin, Royal Marines, was killed on November 13th at Beaucourt. Twenty two years of age, Private Madin is the third son of his parents. He enlisted in 1915 and had been in service in Egypt and Salonica before going to France. Two of his brothers are in the ASC, and the South Staffs Regiments respectively.
